Navigating Mental Health in the Workplace: Protecting Employees and Promoting Well-being with Kristie Stevens

Goals of Presentation: 1) Discuss how mental health affects and is affected by the workplace. 2) Discuss ways the employer can promote good mental health in the workplace and protect themselves in the process. 3) Discuss the employees role in encouraging a workplace that supports good mental health and advocating for reasonable accommodations.

Kristie Stevens, Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), is a dedicated social worker with 26 years of experience, including 13 years specializing in mental health therapy. She currently serves as the outpatient program coordinator at Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness in Hot Springs.

Kristie has extensive experience working with both children and adults, with specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and trauma-focused therapy. She is also skilled in active parenting, integrative mental health practices, cognitive processing therapy, and motivational interviewing.

An Arkansas native, Kristie is a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoys music of all genres.

One hour of SHRM PDC & HRCI is approved.
