Soft Skills in the Workplace

Christi will be discussing Soft Skills and what HR Professionals can do to enhance these skills in their employees.  Soft Skills are crucial to the success of businesses.  The absence of skills such as communication, adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, work ethic, interpersonal skills, time management, and attention to detail can derail the growth of companies. Employees' soft skills are the glue to increase a company's profits and productivity.  Christi will discuss the above soft skills and apply them within her signature program of Confidence, Control, and Consistency™.

Christi Nation is the President of Nation Training & Development and has over 20 years of experience in the training field.  Businesses and individuals increase their profits, productivity, and peace of mind through Christi's methods and approaches in business coaching, customized training, and conference speaking. For individuals, she has a Facebook Group called Productivity Nation sharing tips for continuous improvement.

Christi holds a Master's Degree in Organizational and Interpersonal Communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Examples of her past and present client list include: University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Rapides Medical Center, U.S. Lawns, Aspire Wealth Builders, Cornerstone Capital Management, United Country Real Estate, U.S. Stations, Gilcrest Construction,  Hot Springs Giving Circle, Jackson House, National Park College, Louisiana State University of Alexandria, and ACT - Data Scout.

Christi is the Past President of the Hot Springs National Park Downtown Rotary Club and the only person to receive the Rotarian of the Year Award twice. She was the founding Executive Director of the Henderson State University - Hot Springs campus. Christi was the Vice President for Development at Levi Hospital for eleven years and created its popular event - The Baron's Ball.

Christi taught part-time on the college level for Henderson State University, Ouachita Baptist University, ASU - Three Rivers, University of Arkansas Community College at Hope, and LSU - Alexandria.
